How did you get into your sport: I searched online to look at what Paralympic sports I could participate in and in September 2009, I was invited to a 'Paralympic potential day' where I could try out all of the sports, and wheelchair fencing was one of the sports that I tried. I was invited to train with the Great Britain squad for a weekend and then invited to my first competition at the Olympic Village at Stoke Mandeville 2 months later where I won my first Silver medal. In November I won my first Gold medal. In 2010 I competed internationally and have tallied up a total of 2 Gold medals and 3 Silver medals and have been awarded the title of National Champion. All of this has been within the first year of competitive competition.
